Thank you, Target

The Children's Museum is a wonderful place and without Target I'm not sure we'd have the opportunity to go. Every third Sunday of the month Target opens the Children's Museum so we can go for free. Thank you, Target.
An extra big thank you as Maren gets older. She sees the museum advertise it's exhibits on PBS and asks to go. I am happy to be able to tell her yes as long as she can wait until the third Sunday of the month. This time it's LEGO castle.

The skeleton below was Maren's favorite part of the whole castle. She didn't want to build with Legos or look at the big castles built from Legos she just wanted to stand here, move the keys on the wall, and listen to the scary noises while sucking her thumb.

Lilly liked the big Lego blocks

 and the flowers in Habitot.

Warning, side track ahead -

Here is my social comment for the day. Third Sundays are busy because it's free. So don't bring your knitting. There are others who may need to rest on the bench. And for Agnes (our parent and child educator for most of the semester at ECFE), this is parent and child interaction time. This is where you observe your children, interact with your children, learn from your children and learn about your children. Not where you knit.

Little Lilly loves water almost as much as her sister.

Let's face it. The kids love everything about the Children's Museum, that's why it's the Children's Museum. They know kids! It's all their size! It doesn't get much better than this.
