I just wanted the girls to go outside. It was pretty nice and the yellow maple leaves had all just fallen on the parkway. Big piles of yellow up and down the road + two cute girls, I thought I'd get some good pics.

Lilly wouldn't stay away from the street and Maren was quickly distracted before she even got near yellow leaves because she found a worm.
A big ol' nightcrawler of a worm. Worm, you picked the wrong sidewalk. My daughter will love you forever.
We had to make him a home because it was cold outside and she didn't want him to get cold. Too bad he accidently escaped overnight (aka Dad dumped him back outside while Maren was sleeping). She didn't even ask about him (by the way, his name is Slinky, until a week later). Then I had to break the news to her about his escape.
